Wireless sensor network (WSN) is an emerging technology which find useful in several application areas such as healthcare, environmental monitoring, border surveillance, etc. Several issues that exist the designing of WSN are node localization, coverage, energy efficiency, security, and so on. In spite issues, localization considered important issue, intends to calculate coordinate points unknown nodes with assistance anchors. The efficiency can be considerably influenced by accuracy. Therefore, this paper presents a modified search rescue optimization based technique (MSRO-NLT) for WSN. major aim MSRO-NLT determine positioning Since traditional (SRO) algorithm suffers from local optima problem increase number iterations, MSRO developed incorporation chaotic maps improvise diversity technique. concept map characteristics SRO helps achieve better exploration ability algorithm. order validate effective performance algorithm, set simulations were performed highlight supremacy presented model. A detailed comparative results analysis showcased betterment over other compared methods terms different measures.
